Founded in 2007, Mitchell Machine established itself as a trusted local shop known for precision craftsmanship and dependable machining services in the Rochester area.
In early 2025, the company was acquired by Nawed Akhtar, a Mechanical Engineer with Swiss and German tool-and-die training and more than 30 years of experience in precision manufacturing.
Under Nawed’s leadership, Mitchell Machine has been transformed into a modern aerospace-grade facility, now operating as part of Aeroform Manufacturing Group Inc. The shop has been completely upgraded with advanced CNC technology, enhanced quality systems, and a renewed focus on aerospace and defense applications — continuing Mitchell’s legacy while positioning Aeroform at the forefront of high-precision manufacturing in North America.
